How to bypass the LR censors! Let's start with LRBF...

So now you've been reading the Tiberian blog with mild - or strong - curiosity... great!  But you want to find more juicy stuff.  You even want to search the LR message board for key terms.  Like LRBF defined previously.  Buuut....you can't see the full monty when you search for "LRBF" on Google.  So here's how we do this...

Step 1.  Search GOOG using the terms "LRBF letsrun.."

You see... this.  Plenty of action!  The problem is, the censors (that is WeJo and his acolytes) have scrubbed the active LR board of Tiberian contributions.  Although I am an implacable opponent of censorship, I grudgingly admit, these guys generally are relentless.  They do this as soon as their basement-dwelling snowflake informers have contacted them. It's really too bad that they don't direct all their energy into 800m training, because then they'd be challenging Jim Ryun's all-time mark of ~1.39.

Anyway, this search is promising...because you can see remnant Tiberian text.  But how to get the juice?

Step 2.  Use GOOG's Cache function.  

Right-click on the small down arrow that appears to the right of the URL.  This activates GOOG's "Cached" function.  Select the "Cached" page...

Step 3.  Retrive the Cached page and soak in Tiberian wisdom

In this case, the cache shows this page as archived Jun 17, 2018 at 03:21:33 GMT as shown by the GOOG timestamp at the top.

Here's an example from the second search result shown in the Step 1 screencap.  The cache shows the original Tiberian contribution to the thread, which appeared on Page 2 at that time.... directly after Wowyou'reapussy's erudite contribution of "Is it hard going through life being a huge vag?" (That's classic LetsRun message board ID and repartee, BTW, if you're new to this).

This post includes the key term "LRBF" that GOOG indexed.

Here, Tiberius evaluates the quality of this particular trollism on LR.  I will have more to say about this entertaining practice in another post, but for the moment, let's stick with the archived post.  You can see that Tiberius wrote:

"0.1/10.  Only because you actually provoked a reaction with this utterly overblown garbage...."etc.

The "common LRBF nightmare" Tiberius refers to is the original post title of "today starts my gfs 2 week vacation with her ex-"...  If this topic wasn't such an obvious troll, it would be posted by an ultragamma archetype LRBF male.  The problem is, this troll thread is far too simplistic and obvious even for LRBF.  There's definitely an art to trolling and LR is a great place to appreciate the diversity of trolls from the utterly dumb - like above - to the sophisticated genre that generate many pages of serious follow-up.

Soo.... now that you see how it can be done, try it, and in this way you will now find hundreds of gems, all archived by the GOOG.  In spite of the efforts of the LR censors and board mods - and the hangers-on and lickspittle goblins of the censors, these guys who contribute to the censorious pablum - we can still find amusement.

For instance, Malmo gets a roasting for his supposed auxiliary role in this constant scrubbing of interesting debate from LR.

Many posters bleat about their threads being scrubbed and them being made unpersons.  I never waste time with this blubbering.  The censors do what they wish on their board, of course, and asking dumb "Why me?" questions is too pathetic to even be worthy of response.  Although there are plenty of dumb LRBF whining and pleading with the censors about their own threads being nuked, grovelling that they haven't broken the board charter or otherwise been offensive.. well, too bad!  That's censorship for you!  Capricious, arbitrary, and the enemy of informative debate!  LOL!  OTOH, these whinings are always amusing to find - because before they get nuked, these whiners all believe implicitly they are "on the side" of the mods and therefore, immune to deletion - but, far from it!  LOL!  Almost every day you'll see an active post of this type on LR.

But OTOH since all of this is publicly posted, viewers like Tiberius - and you - can find the good stuff using other means.
